In this picture you can see a view of some of the buildings in the Ninna-ji Temple complex.
The entrance to the Ninna-ji temple is free, but to visit the temple itself, you do have to pay an entrance fee. The Temple consists of four main buildings from the Heian Dynasty: the Main Priest's Residence, the Shinden Palace, the Koku Library and the Haku Library. The temple is the headquarters of the Omuro school of the Buddhist Shingon sect.
In the gardens of the temple you can find the Omuro Cherry trees, that blossom late in spring.
Ninna-ji temple is another of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites in Kyoto.
