7/38.- Ceske Budejovice, Old Town Sky View

After a destructive fire in 1641, the city was reconstructed. Form this period date many of the Baroque houses and churches in Ceske Budejovice. In the 19th century the city underwent another expansion period, when the city became the industrial capital of South Bohemia. The industrial character of the city was consolidated in the 20th century. Nowadays the city has almost 100,000 inhabitants.
