Welcome to Ceské Budejovice, South Bohemia (Czech Republic). The city, also known as Budweis, its German name used in the 19th century, is famous for its Renaissance and Baroque Buildings, for the biggest square in the Czech Republic (and one of the most beautiful in this country), and for its local beer, the Budvar. This local beer, also known as Budweiser, inspired the name of the American Beer Budweiser.

If you’re interested in Ceské Budejovice, come with me, and I will show you this wonderful city. We will start the tour with this view of the Otakar II Square (Námesti Otakara II).
