26/40.- Xian, Muslim Quarter, shopping street

Leaving the Great Mosque you will get to a narrow alleyway full of souvenir shops. In this bazaar you are expected to bargain hard. Try to pay less than fifty per cent of the first offered price.

Xian is also a good place to shop for cheap clothes. One of the best places to go shopping is the Baihuo Market, in Xiaozhai (take a taxi), where you can buy fake sneakers, pullovers and jeans, among many other fashion accessories.

Now we will visit Xian's Defensive Walls.
