The highlights of Wenshu Monastery are the cultural relics that are stored here, mainly paintings and calligraphy by renowned Chinese painters.

Wenshu Monastery holds more than 300 statues of Buddha, the most famous of them all is a jade Buddha statue brought by a Buddhist monk from Burma to China in 1922 on foot.
