Another famous clothing bazaar is the Sanlitun Yaxiu Market. On the third floor you find excellent tailors. On the first two floors you find clothing, shoes, and luggage. Here is where the real bargains and cheap copies of international brands are.

Other shopping areas in Beijing are the Silver Street, with foreign name-brand shops; Jianguomenwai Dajie, with its fancy shopping centers; Liulichang street, with traditional works and articles; Chung-Yo Department Store and the Xidan Market, with branded products.

Beijing, like the rest of the big cities in China, is a real shopping paradise. Bring a big empty suitcase from home, or buy a brand new one in its markets. You will need it.
