And here we are at one of the city's principal highlights, the Art Institute of Chicago. One of the world's best art museums, the Art Institute of Chicago is perhaps best known for its Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and American collections.

The two lions flanking the entrance are a city landmark, and it's not uncommon to see them dressed in a Chicago sports team's uniform when that team makes the playoffs.
