22/50.- Red Sea, scuba diving, blue oyster

This is one of the many giant oysters you get to see when you scuba dive or snorkel in the Red Sea. They are huge: some are almost one meter long (one yard)! their blue and purple colors are amazing, but you better not get too close, if one of your fingers got trapped in the shell it could be very painful.

I wonder if the pearls in these oysters are as big as their shells ...
