19/50.- Red Sea, scuba diving, sohal surgeonfish

This is a sohal surgeonfish (acanthurus sohal). This fish can be found in the Western indian ocean: from the Red Sea to the Arabian gulf. The sohal surgeonfish is an aggressive and territorial fish, that can be found in the shallow waters of reefs exposed to surge.

These fishes have drawn the attention of aquarium lovers thanks to their very special combination of colors. They live in warm waters and they feed on algae. In rich water like these ones, you can find thousands of them in a very small area.
