18/50.- Red Sea, scuba diving, unicornfish

In this photo you can see a nice unicorn fish. It may look strange, but many other species have a horn on their heads. This unicorn fish belongs to the surgeonfish family. In this species, the young fish feed on algae while the adults feen mainly on the larger plankton.

The Red Sea is so rich thanks to its great location and to the fact that it is the only tropical sea almost closed and without rivers on its shores.
