12/50.- Red Sea, marsa alam, scuba diving

Well, my friend, it is time to scuba dive! if you do not have your own scuba gear, you can rent all the equipment in your selected scuba diving center. Usually material is in perfect state. Prices for a scuba dive are around 25 usd. If you have your own wet suit, you can save some money. I would not recommend to travel to Egypt with your own tanks and weights, because you will find first class material in most of the centers in Egypt.

If you want to take underwater photos while diving, you better bring as many films as you can afford. Rolls are available in some of the main cities in Egypt, but some of the remotest scuba diving resorts do not sell film. The film material is also more expensive (and in some cases of poorer quality) than in most Western countries. I also recommend to bring your own camera, or to rent it at home. Some centers do not have underwater cameras to let.

Egypt's Red Sea is also the perfect place to complete your diving courses. Most of the scuba diving centers do beginners and advanced courses. Usually it takes one week to have the first title.
