11/50.- Red Sea, marsa alam, sun set

In this photo we can see a wonderful sun set. The four scuba diving resorts in marsa alam are located in the middle of nowhere. In front of us there are more than 200 miles of desert, at our left (south) there are more than 20 miles to the town of marsa alam and to the right (North) there are almost 100 miles to the closest village. At our back we have the unspoiled waters of the Red Sea.

This area has a typical desert weather: hot during the day time and cold during the night. Usually a very strong wind blows here, which can be somewhat annoying when sun bathing, but it is great to practice windsurf.
