40/42.- Geneva, Notre-dame

Menu

Just next to the Cornavin Train Station, sits the Church of Notre Dame (the Church of Our Lady). After visiting St Peter's, you will find this church very richly decorated. This is a Catholic Church.

Now that the end of this Photographic Tour is almost here, it may be the time to tell you how to get here. Geneva is very well connected by train, road and air with the rest of Europe.

Geneva's airport is really close to the town. Once you get to the airport, you can go to the Tourist Information Desk and ask for a free map and a travel guide. If you do not have reservations, they can help you out. To get to the city center you can take a train, a bus or a taxi. Buying the train tickets was not as easy as I expected. What you have to do, is go to the line that you will see at your right. You can then buy a one-way ticket or a day ticket. Get on any train, and there you are, right in the town center. Many companies fly into Geneva's airport. There is even a cheap airline that flies in from almost any important city in Europe to Geneva for very little money. You do not have any excuse for not visiting this city now!
