5/33.- Lisbon, "Castelo de San Jorge"

In front of us, on the hill, you can see the "Castelo de San Jorge", a restored, luxurious Castle, which offers spectacular views of Lisbon and the sea. The Castle was constructed over the Roman ruins in 1147 and was the royal family’s palace from the 14th to the 16th century.

Lisbon is currently a cosmopolitan city. After the emancipation of the old colonies, many of its citizens moved to the Capital.

In the streets of Lisbon you see many black people --the most of the born in Angola or Mozambique, the African colonies.
