3/45.- Athens, Agora, Temple of Hephaestus
The Temple of Hephaestus, perched impressively on a little hill overlooking most of the Agora,
is perhaps the best-preserved Greek temple in the world. It dates to around 550 BCE, and all its columns and pediments and even most of the roof are completely intact. It's a nice change of pace from the crumbling ruins one usually sees at ancient sites!
The temple also has a nice view out over the rest of the Agora and the Acropolis.
