39/43.- Florence, Piazzale Michelangelo, view

Leonardo da Vinci is the other immortal artist of the Renaissance. He was born in Vinci (what a coincidence, isn’t it?). He spent the major part of his life in Milan, and he died in Amboise (France) in 1519. He began his career here in Florence, as a Verrocchio pupil. In Florence he met the other genius of his time: Michelangelo.
