To get to Piazzale Michelangelo from Florence center you can either walk, cross the 'Ponte Vecchio', take a left, walk through the 'Piazza' and fork right up Via de Bardi and follow uphill as it becomes Via del Monte alle Croci; or take the bus number 13 and get off when you see the David sculpture (in the picture). It’s not possible to get lost, I promise.
