Menu

The castle of the Earl of Flanders was erected in 1180 and served various purposes. At one time it was a prison and torture chamber, at another it was the home of the Chapter of the Golden Fleece. In the 19th century it was a spinning factory, but in the early 20th century it was restored to its former glory.
