18/37.- Camaret, Saint Pol Roux' Manor

Just above Pen Hat beach one can see the remains of the poet Saint-Pol Roux' castle-like house. Roux was shot by the Germans in World War II, and the strange towered manor has been neglected ever since, despite occasional calls for, and attempts at, rehabilitation and reconstruction.
