19/37.- Camaret, The Lagatjar Megaliths

The menhirs of Lagatjar, prehistoric megaliths, crown the dunes between the village and Pen Hat. The alignments are nowhere as impressive as the Carnac menhirs, but remain mysterious nevertheless -- especially when visited in the eerie atmosphere of foggy weather, or late at night under a starry sky.
