As the capital of Europe, Brussels is becoming an increasingly cosmopolitan town where people from all kinds of backgrounds, races, colours and beliefs meet and mingle. It would be an exaggeration to say that the co-existence of so much variety is always harmonious, but among young people, especially students, there is a real effort to develop mutual understanding and overcome silly prejudices.
