12/35.- Avignon, Hotel des Monnaies

The 'Monnaies' mansion was built in 1619, and it is one of the best samples of the Baroque style in Avignon. It currently hosts the Olivier Messiaen music conservatoire.

In front of the 'Hotel des Monnaies' is a terrace always full of tourists. From time to time a street artist performs in front of the foreign visitors. The nice view of the Palace -just in front of the terrace-, the music and the friendly staff, makes of this one of my favorite places to relax.
