31/31.- Osaka, Hep Five, Umeda

Hep Five, a shopping mall in the center of Osaka (Umeda), is becoming a new landmark of the city. In Hep Five, you find stores, restaurants, and the red 100--meter tall Ferris wheel. In the neighboring HEP Navio Department Store, you will find movie theaters and more stores.

In the Osaka area there are some nice one-day excursions you can take: the monastic complex of Koyasan, the port town of Kobe, the Himeji Castle, and the ancient capital of Nara.
