15/50.- Kyoto, Chishakuin Temple

The temple of Chishakuin is famous for being a center of Buddhist studies and training.

Its main building was destroyed in a blaze at the end of the 19th century, and was rebuilt in 1975.

In the picture you can see one of the statues in the gardens of the Chishakuin temple.
