12/50.- Kyoto, Sanjusangendo Temple

Inside the temple of Sanjusangendo you can see the famous 1001 statues of the goddess of mercy, Kannon.

The statues of the goddess stand in rows, and are as big as a real life person. Unfortunately this is one of the temples where photography is not allowed, so I cannot show you a picture of the statues.
