12/32.- Hiroshima, Hiroshima Castle

The Hiroshima-jo Castle is another of the points of interest in Hiroshima. You can get here on a 15-minute walk from the Peace Park, or by streetcar (Kamiya-cho Station).

The Hiroshima Castle is a great place to go for a walk and relax for a while. From the banks of the moat, and from the castle itself, there is a great view of the cherry trees. The sight is especially recommended during the blossom season, in early April.
