14/43.- Shanghai, downtown street

Once you have relaxed in the Yuyuan Garden, it is time to get back to the bustling streets of Shanghai.

If you ever come to Shanghai, and have some time left, I recommend walking along the streets next to the Yuyuan Garden. You will find many interesting places and buildings. In downtown Shanghai the local government has left some of the old buildings standing. In a city that changes so fast, and that is more interested in its future than in its past, seeing this old district is a nice experience.
