22/38.- Jiuzhaigou Valley, Shuzheng Lakes

The Jiuzhaigou Valley was declared a World Heritage site in 1992 for its scenic and historic interest.

The valley is inhabited by more than 140 bird species. The area is also the habitat of some endangered plant and animal species, among them the Sichuan takin and the giant panda.
