21/26.- Hangzhou, Temple of Good Marriage

Hangzhou has many smaller temples, on of them is the Temple of Good Marriage, where locals go to have their fortune told.

If you want to know your destiny, you choose one stick from one of the boxes. Each box has written in Chinese one word: fortune, marriage, carrier, studies, etc. Then you take the stick, which has a unique number, to the fortune-teller , who after taking your money, will tell your fortune. One of the ladies on my tour picked up a stick from the box with the marriage label. I was told she wanted to know if her son would marry his girlfriend.
