5/35.- Yosemite National Park

The length of your visit will mainly depend on what you want to do. If you only want to see Yosemite Valley and the sequoia groves, a one- or two-day excursion may suffice. If you want to hike, you may need to stay here as long as one week.

Inside the National Park there is some accommodation, lodges and campgrounds. They tend to be sold out during the tourist season (late Spring, Summer and early Fall). Book well ahead. If you do not find accommodation inside the Valley, you can stay in the nearby towns of Groveland, Mariposa, El Portal, Fish Camp and Lee Vining.
