33/33.- Grand Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon Railway

In this last picture, you can see the Grand Canyon Railway's historic locomotive. This is a good way of visitng the park from the town of Williams.

Outside of the South Rim entrance in the town of Tusayan, there is a small aiport, the Grand Canyon National Park Airport (GCN). But you have to know this aiport serves mainly private aircraft. If you want to fly to the Grand Canyon from a distant city, you will have to fly to the airports of Flagstaff (90 miles from the entrance), Phoenix (230 miles), or Las Vegas (275 miles).

Well my friend this is it, this Virtual Tour of the Grand Canyon has come to its end. I hope you have enjoyed it.

If you visit California, you should not miss Los Angeles, San Francisco, Big Sur, Yosemite National Park, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Tijuana!
