31/44.- Chicago, Robie House, Hyde Park

Perhaps the most famous of the Wright houses in the Chicago area isn't in Oak Park, but rather is in the Chicago neighborhood of Hyde Park, a few miles south of downtown Chicago.

The Robie House, built in 1910, is also in the Prairie Style. Best of all, it's open for public tours. It's advisable to reserve in advance though, as the tours can fill up quickly.
