7/44.- Chicago, Millennium Park, Flowers

Here we are in a garden at Millennium Park. Millennium Park occupies the northwest portion of Grant Park, Chicago's "Front Yard" bordering the lake.

Millennium Park was one of the city's largest public works/redevelopment projects and was finally completed only in 2004. It includes an ice rink, a theater, and extensive landscaping and gardens from which one also has nice views of some of the city's skyscrapers.
