14/18.- Carmel-By-The-Sea

Carmel-By-The-Sea, or Carmel, is a lovely beach town along Highway 1. The town is famous for its up-scale residential areas, its fine restaurants and nice beaches.

If you keep traveling North from Carmel you will get to Monterey, and then to San Francisco (two hours from here).
