26/31.- Red Rock Canyon

Close by is the Lost Creek, Children's Discovery Trail which leads to a waterfall. Well, that depends on whether there has been a rain storm or not. If you have the time you could also visit Death Valley National Park not too far from Red Rock Canyon. But bring lots of water. The summer months can be brutally hot with temperatures above 100 degrees F. (38º C) Dehydration can sneak up on you and can even be lethal.
