Have you seen any burros yet? You might. These docile-looking animals wander around wild out here. Other animals you might just be lucky/unlucky to spot are mountain lions and coyotes. The peace and natural beauty remind one of how great Nature is, and this stark contrast between life in the desert and life in the city of Las Vegas is a reassuring jerk to the senses.
