The waters surrounding Jamaica are rich in underwater life. Locals who do not posses land, earn their living with small boats like this. If you like fishing, you can arrange a deep sea fishing charter. They will provide you with the crew and the equipment. If you want a more off the beaten path activity, look for one of the local fishers on a beach, and ask him how much he wants to take you fishing. Be very polite, because they have no obligation to take you.
