4/28.- Arenal National Park, Hanging Bridges

One of the recommended activities in La Fortuna is a visit to the Arenal Hanging Bridges.

The hanging bridges, some of them more than 100 yards long and 50 yards high, have been planted in one of the most beautiful parts of the rainforest in the area. From the bridges you get to see a view of the trees from above. An unforgettable experience. The Arenal Hanging Bridges attraction is 20 minutes north of La Fortuna. You can get here with your own car, by taxi or with an organized tour. There is a 50 per cent discount for students.
