37/50.- Red Sea, scuba diving, clownfish

This fish is one of the most famous in the coral reefs: the clown fish. Part of its fame comes from their funny colors, but they are mostly known for their symbiotic alliance with the anemone.

Although anemones are an easy target for preys, they live hundreds of years in many cases. This is possible thanks to the clown fishes. They defend the anemone in exchange for food. This can easily be seen in the coral reef, you only have to get close to the anemone, and the couple of clown fish that protect the anemone will come to you to defend it. Be careful, though: they have been known to attack divers hands! don't worry, the bite doesn't hurt.
