20/47.- Marrakech, Bahia Palace, tiled mosaic

In this picture you can see one of the typical geometric decorations done with tiles. These tiles were in one of the walls in the Bahia Palace.

Not far from the Bahia Palace, close to Ferblantiers Square, sits another of the tourist attractions of Marrakech, the El Badi Palace. Although it used to be one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, currently most part of it is in ruins. If you have plenty of time, you can drop by. If you get there, do not miss the Mosque tower.
