10/25.- Fez, Medina, donkeys

The medina of Fez is reserved to pedestrians, but from time to time you will have to give way to the donkeys and horses. It is pretty amazing how the owners of these beasts find a way to pass through the overcrowded streets.

If you are walking in a narrow street, or staring at one of the shops, and hear someone shouting something in Arabic, just step aside. Most of the times it will be someone riding a horse or a donkey. And you do not want to be stepped by a horse, do you? (especially if it is summer and you are wearing your flip flops).
