In the photo you can see one of the popular carriages. You find them in the town center. Every time one of these carriages passes by, the driver will ask you if you want to get on.

There many other activities to do in Luxor. You can do a faluca trip on the Nile. Falucas are the old fishermen boats. You can rent one of them for a few Egyptian pounds. You will find them in Corniche, by the Nile. It is more expansive during sun set, but it is worth paying the extra price. If you plan to visit Aswan, I recommend to do the faluca trip there, the river landscape is more beautiful.

Other activities to do in Luxor are the balloon tours and the horses, donkeys or camel rides.
