42/50.- Luxor, Hatshepsut temple, tombs

In the mountains surrounding the mortuary temple of queen Hatshepsut, there are tombs of the nobles. You can see some of them in this photo. Not all of them can be visited by tourists, because archeologists are still working here.

These are not the only nobles tombs in the area, in the Western bank there are more than 400 of these tombs. Some of them are on the hills, and others Among the houses of the old village of gurna. 100 of these tombs are interesting enough to be visited, and 12 of them are specially recommended in some Luxor guides. Again I cannot give you more information about them, because I didn't have time to visit any of them.
