28/50.- Cairo, old Cairo, traditional street market, fruits stand

This is a photo of another friendly seller I found in this market. In his stand he sold small oranges.

There is a rule you have to remember if you want to buy fruits or vegetables in a street market: if you can peel it or boil it you can eat it, if not, you better forget it.

This rule should also be used in restaurants, but after a few days in Egypt the exceptions will begin. One day it will be a salad, then a lemon juice, and so on.
