17/50.- Cairo, sultan Hassan & Rifai, shoes off

All the mosques in Cairo, but two, can be visited by non Muslims. Before visiting the temple you have to leave your shoes at the entrance. most of the temples are free, you only have to give some baksheesh (tip) to the man who keeps your shoes. If you want to visit a mosque you have to wear long trousers and long sleeves. If you are a woman you should wear a headscarf.
