39/41.- Alexandria, ibrahimiyya market, fruits stand

In this photo you can see two nice market sellers trying to sell me some vegetables. Locals are friendly and open minded, but most of them do not speak English. You will have to use mimic to communicate with them, or learn some basic words in Arabic.

Recently great underwater treasuries have been found in Alexandria's harbor. Currently scientists are working in the area, but local authorities have plans to convert this area in the first underwater museum in the world. Some of these treasuries are the remains of the Pharos lighthouse and the Royal Quarters, with its fabulous statues and columns. New treasuries are expected to be found in the near future.
