Another thing you should not miss in Alexandria are its bazaars. There are several streets markets throughout Alexandria. Each one has its own charm. In the photo you can see the Anfushi market.

The Anfushi district is also known as the Turkish district. Anfushi is the more traditional quarter in Alexandria. While other districts were modernized in the 19th century, Anfushi preserves the old atmosphere of this ancient city.
