26/36.- Abu Simbel, Hathor Temple, relief

In this photo you can see a relief in the facade of the Hathor temple. This relief was carved on the original cliff, which was carved in 1964, cut in pieces and reconstructed some meters above its original location. On the next page you will see a photo of the artificial mountain, which will give you an idea of the relocation works.
