If you are looking for a quieter place to sun bathe, this is the beach you have to go. It is called 'Santa Anna' (Saint Anne's). It is located behind the harbor. To get here you have to walk along the parking lot, behind the fish market, and climb a stairway. You will see a bench called 'si no fos' (= if it weren't for ...). Most of the towns in Catalonia have a bench with a similar name. Old people sit there and complain about their ailments. The name comes from the words they use to start almost all their sentences: "I would be fine, if it weren't for my back aches."
You can not see it from here, but in front of the island on the right is a small beach, one of my favorites in town.
