At low tide, the small boats lie picturesquely around on the sand near the Fort. At high tide, their owners offer the tourists boat rides to the cliffs and grottoes just a few minutes away.
What used to be an amusing tourist attraction has now turned into a small industry, with all kinds of ships, including powerful outboard vehicles, offering visits, fishing safaris, paella and barbecue pic-nics, romantic night rides, and dolphin-watching cruises. Some of them offer better value for money than others.
